ELDERS
Role: Elders are the leaders of the church who in the Bible are also called pastors, bishops, and overseers.
Qualifications: The elders are chosen for their ministry according to clear Biblical requirements (1 Timothy 2:11-3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9).
Plurality: Biblical elders are always spoken of in plurality because God intends for more than one to lead and rule over the church as a safeguard for both the church and the elder.
Duties: The elders' duties include teaching, preaching, doctrinal instruction, shepherding, living exemplary lives, using authority, managing, and discipline

DEACONS
Role: To serve and care for the family of MissioDei and to handle many of the practical needs of the church to free the elders up for spiritual leadership, prayer, and teaching (Acts 6).
Qualifications: Deacons are chosen for their role according to clear Biblical requirements (Acts 6:1-4; Tim. 3:8-15)
Duties: The deacon duties include supporting the Elder board by: praying with and for MissioDei; helping to manage church finances; meeting with newcomers; providing benevolence and counseling for people in need; and leading various ministries within our church
