Learn More about Missio Dei Uptown In-Person Services

It is very exciting that we will be meeting in person for the first time since October and the first time inside since March of 2020. In order to attend our 10am service on a Sunday at The Wilson Abbey, we are asking that you sign up using the link below. The max we can hold for a Sunday is 50 people so please be sure to sign up ASAP to reserve your spot. For those wondering, we have decided to shorten our service a bit so you can expect that the service will last for around 1 hour.

Safety Precautions

We want to be clear about the health procedures we are taking for our services on Sunday mornings. Below are the procedures for the main service:

  • Sign-ups each week and ask people not to come if sick
  • 50 or less people can come and be in main sanctuary with check-ins at the front door.
  • Temperatures checked at the door
  • Masks are required for anyone over 2 years old
  • Cleaning before service, including chairs, tables, door knobs, etc.
  • Masks and hand sanitizer available for anyone to use
  • No shared coffee or communion
  • Individual communion cups placed on seats before service
  • Socially distanced seating
  • Limited congregational singing. We are asking people to see our time singing as a chance for the worship leader to sing over us.
  • Limited sharing of microphones
  • Communication to those attending if anyone has COVID-19 after the service.

Plan & Health Procedures for MD KIDS

Based on interest and volunteer availability we are excited to be offering one classroom of MD Kids for ages 3-10 years old this Sunday.

When the need arises, we will move to two rooms and so on. As you walk into the building and down the entry hallway you will see a place to check-in your kid(s). The room we will be using is quite large to hold the maximum of 10 (including volunteers) people.

Here are the health procedures in place for MD Kids:

  • Sign-ups each week – be sure to include your kid in the sign-up form you fill out to reserve his or her spot in MD Kids
  • 10 or less people (including volunteers) in a room
  • Masks are required
  • Temperatures checked at the main door
  • No snacks will be offered (please feed kids before service)
  • Socially distanced seating
  • Kids ministry teacher’s masked and with activities that promote social distancing.

*Some of the MD Kid’s volunteers are already vaccinated while others are yet to have that opportunity. Still all will be wearing masks and continue to follow all health protocols.
